Line Work
These students are working on drawing Blind Contour Drawings. Blind contour drawings have students look at only the object they are drawing so they are an exercise in hand-eye coordination. Students drawing bottles are practicing drawing outlines of objects- showing only the outer edges of the bottles.

Teach What you Have Learned
My 8th grade students work with 1st graders from the elementary school to create a ceramic project for Mother's Day. They teach them all the processes and assist them in making a wall pocket. We have been doing this project for so many years that students who were first graders are now participating as 8th graders!
Yearbook Photography
Students not only produce the entire book, they take all the pictures. Learning about how to take a good picture is a large portion of the class. These are great pictures taken by students in the class.
